This course provides an insight into the news in the English-speaking world (focus UK/USA) for learners. Our aim is to acquire a broad vocabulary on topics such as politics, culture, sports, international cuisine and lifestyle. There will be loads of possibilities to discuss various topics in mini-groups as well as in plenum. Furthermore, the in-depth training of intercultural communication skills plays a major role in this course. This is required in order to politely express one's own opinion on the above-mentioned topics of conversation.
